The usual golf course offers much more than the game itself. When one follows the PGA Tour, one also ends up interested in the golfer individually. This certainly includes various comments made by popular golfers, including World No. 1 Jon Rahm.

The PGA Tour star was recently at the American Express event – fans always excited to see him play no matter what.

This time around, however, fans were intrigued due to a completely different reason.

Jon Rahm curses on the course

During his recent PGA Tour appearance at the 2022 American Express, Rahm appeared a little too irked about the course setup. Fortunately for fans on the internet, his antics were captured on camera and uploaded. “Piece of sh*t f**king setup,” Rahm says in the video, muttering that it’s close to being a putting contest this week.

Someone else even asks the one holding the camera if they got everything that Rahm said.

Indeed, Rahm’s words drew in some interesting reaction.

Fans react on Twitter

“Real shame Jon Rahm isn’t involved with the Netflix doc!” Golf.com’s Sean Zak wrote, referring to the upcoming PGA Tour major and golf documentary. While many major players will be taking part in the same, Rahm will be sitting this one out.

His response, however, has convinced people that he should be a part of it.

“True statement,” wrote another fan, responding to a tweet about Rahm having a mic on him all the time. After all, such replies and statements are always entertaining. Rahm’s words proved his frustration with the course, which had some users writing that he is always complaining.

Some fans even agreed with Rahm, stating that yes, it is the worst sporting event of the year and it needs to go. Other fans even referred to the events as boring, writing that the PGA Tour needs to switch it up. The courses were talked about in detail, fans agreeing that there is nothing new they could offer.

However, some even wanted him to stop playing if he had so much of a problem with it.

Irrespective of their perspective, most fans seemed to accept that they love Rahm over here, and would love to see more of this on the course. It was caught on the mic unexpectedly, only to elicit an honest comment from a golfer.

Having said that, Rahm playing at an event like the American Express always makes it a favorite of sorts. Interestingly, the 27-year-old has won the event back in 2018.
