Phil Mickelson gives his almost 90-year-old fan a souvenir

In a recent tweet by the PGA TOUR Champions, they shared a photo of a fan, who had her birthday wish come true, thanks to Phil Mickelson. “Patsy got her birthday wish,” they wrote, attaching a photo of the fan holding a banner addressed to Mickelson and a golf ball given to her by Phil.

The white banner directly addressed to Mickelson read, “Phil, I’m turning 90. You have always been my boy.” In another video, a producer asks Patsy why she likes Mickelson so much.

“Well, he’s cute and he’s nice,” she responds, adding that he is just a good guy all around.

Mickelson proves her right, throwing a ball to her side as a souvenir, making it a fitting birthday gift for the die-hard fan.

As of now, Mickelson is currently playing the Charles Schwab Cup Championship at the Phoenix Country Club. He’s been having a great year on the Champions Tour, which started right from his Charles Schwab Series at Ozarks National in 2020. His last PGA Tour event has been the Fortinet Championship, which was played in September.
