According to a report by the Telegraph, that has caused strong speculations within the PGA Tour that Mickelson has signed an agreement to play all the eight events of the LIV Golf Invitational Series. As a result, Phil will have to face a legal battle when the Tour starts, suspending professionals for competing on the SGL.

Furthermore, another report suggests that the lefty has already received $30 million upfront. So he either has to participate in all the events or pay back the received amount with a possible penalty.
