LIV Golf has managed to keep its fans entertained and in a constant state of surprise with not just their tournaments but also through small matches between its players. Moreover, recently, the showdown between Bryson DeChambeau and Phil Mickelson made a lot of waves on the news as the two pros duked it out on the golf course.
Although the epic battle saw the latter take home the win, DeChambeau was not discouraged in the least as the golf world saw him issuing another challenge to a different group of LIV golfers. Mickelson was quick to upload a hilarious tweet as soon as he saw the new collaboration, leaving many fans amused and excited.

Lefty had teamed up with his teammate Cameron Tringale in a bid to take on DeCahmbeau and Anirban Lahiri on the golf course. The match followed a special 9-hole format where the two teams battled it out with each other while having the time of their lives. And now, after seeing the news of the new collaboration that the Crushers GC teammates announced, Mickelson took to Twitter to share his merciless response to the same.
The 53-year-old LIV Golfer uploaded a tweet mentioning how smart it was for ‘the Scientist’ to look for another duo to challenge instead of a rematch with the HyFlyers squadmates. The 29-year-old American golfer had, a little while back, gone ahead to announce another collaboration with Bubba Watson and Harold Varner in Chicago, following the same format in which the earlier match was played.
Phil Mickelson hilariously shared how there was no need for a rematch. Not wishing to end it there, the 6-time major winner went ahead to also say, “Better to throw in the white towel and move on,” as he mercilessly took a jab at the golfer. Moreover, the hilarious dig at the skipper pointed out the loss the Bryson-Ban duo suffered at the hands of the Mickelson-Camo combo.
Smart to find another duo to take on. No need for a rematch with Camo and me. Better to throw in the white towel and move on 😂😂

One can’t help but commend the LIV golfers as they took to the course to take part in the small match to spruce up their friendly rivalry. In fact, special praise should be given to the Scientist as he keeps on partnering up with golfers in hopes of another successful collaboration. Let us take a look at one such instance.

The Crushers GC captain, weeks after his clash with the 53-year-old, paired up with Garret Clark to replicate his Greenbrier feat. The LIV golfer had earlier hit a career-low score of 12-under 58 on the third and final day of the LIV event to propel himself to the top of the scoreboard. The new collaboration with the club golfer aimed to break that score while playing as a two-man scramble.
