Paige Spiranac is a former professional golfer, extremely successful during her college days. She boasts of over 3M followers on Instagram, the most among any golfer. Earlier this year, Mickelson dove into the debate of whether the tournament is called the Open or the British Open.

When Lefty later clarified the same in a tweet, a fan tagged Paige to bring his verdict to her notice. However, unable to view his tweet, it was then that Paige realized, the hall of fame golfer had barred her from his profile.

Notably, many golfers on the tour have their reservations about the pro-turned social media personality. She revealed, “A lot of the girls on tour said they don’t want me talking about them or their tournaments because I’m a bad representation of women’s golf,” referring to the nature of her posts.

While the reason for this is unclear, we have a speculation as to why Lefty might’ve taken the action. Back in 2018, when she was still a rising Instagram star, Spiranac posted a short video, trolling Mickelson.
