As per the reports surrounding the 29-year-old, the golfer is in final talks to join the alternate tour. However, nothing has been confirmed by the pro himself as they continue to be just speculations instead of being a “done deal.” But, as per Alan Shipnuck, Mickelson has a different view regarding the same.

The author uploaded a post to his social media handle, mentioning how the 45X PGA Tour winner has been going around talking about the rumored deal. He revealed that the 6X major champ has been “telling folks that Rahm signing with LIV is a done deal,” all the while pointing out how both the professionals “share the same agent,” Steve Loy, the president of SPORTFIVE and head of the golf division at Lagardere.

However, the controversial writer did not stop there. Known for his beef with the American athlete, Shipnuck accused Mickelson of being a “relentless salesman” as he took a not-so-subtle jab at the golfer as he expressed his disbelief at the HyFlyers GC captain’s words.

Although nothing has been finalized regarding the deal, the speculations have surely piqued the interest of many in the golfing community regarding the same. However, what do the reports actually say about him joining the Middle Eastern circuit?
