If early reports are to be believed, there is a position for the Governor of LIV Golf’s primary source on the new organization. H.E. Yasir Al-Rumayyan will continue governing the body as the chairman of the union, a position he presently serves at the Premier League club, Newcastle United.

Like his counterpart, the 53-year-old was appreciative of the merger. “This partnership represents the best opportunity to extend and increase the impact of golf for all. We look forward to collaborating with Jay and Keith to bring the best version of the game to communities around the world,” he said in a statement.
