It was the PGA Tour’s official Twitter handle that uploaded a group photo of the European team. In the said snippet, all players were seen kissing their wives or girlfriends.
However, the humor kicks in when eyes fall on the right end of the click. In the corner besides the happy couples, Norwegian golfer Viktor Hovland could be seen smiling at the camera standing with his hand on the shoulder of the European team’s vice-captain, Jośe Maria Olazabal.
The PGA Tour account had captioned the photo with a sympathetic “Viktor” followed by a laughing emoji. Post this picture, Hovland grabbed a lucky chance to pose with the WAGs of his teammates, with him in the center and all of them surrounding him. Golf.com even referred to the scene as the one that definitely “stole the show.” Apart from this, Hovland also took pictures with Tyrrell Hatton and his wife Emily.
