But even if he did need something, the American was fortunate to have a better life than many; “I was very lucky to have parents who were able to afford stuff like that.” However, at the age of 27, even the littlest of worries seem unnecessary, especially when it comes to money. The reason? Well, the athlete boasts quite a net worth himself.

The golfer is currently placed T43 on the PGA Tour career earnings list with a whopping $34,506,612 from a total of 117 starts on the circuit. Meanwhile, when it comes to the net worth of the athlete, as per Celebrity Net Worth, he boasted a figure of $6 million back in 2021 and $7 million in 2023. Consequently, his net worth in 2024 is estimated to be around $6-7 million, as per various sources.

His primary source of income falls on the money he earned via his finishes in various tournaments. Back in 2023, the golfer earned a whopping $9.9 million, not to mention the combined $16.7 million he carded in 2020–21 owing to his two major finishes. Morikawa had emerged victorious at the 2020 PGA Championship and the 2021 Open Championship.

With the success the golfer has achieved on the golf course, his boasting of such figures doesn’t come off as a surprise. Morikawa has a total of seven professional wins in his career. Out of the same, three of them were won exclusively on the PGA Tour, and the rest were majors and co-sanctioned events between the Jay Monahan-led circuit and the DP World Tour.

That’s not all. The 27-year-old also possesses a lot of endorsements and partnership deals with various brands. Although the exact amount hasn’t been confirmed, he has signed lucrative deals with Adidas, U.S. Bank, Therabody, Grant Thornton, and KPMG, among others. This has also helped him earn a regular source of income aside from his golfing finishes.

This has allowed him to earn an impressive $8,030,477 from the various placements in 2024.

His finishes have allowed him to be placed at No. 6 on the Official World Golf Rankings with a point tally of 264.28615. This has allowed him to become a part of the U.S. Olympic team and represent his nation at the golf event at the 2024 Paris Games that is taking place at Le Golf National.
