The World Wide Technology Championship in Mexico boasts a generous purse of $8.2 million. The winner of the tournament will claim a substantial prize of $1.476 million.

The event will be held in a stroke play format, and a cut will be applicable after the first two days. The winner of the event will get 500 FedEx Cup points in addition to the humongous prize money.

However, the road to victory is not going to be easy since seven of the players from the top 50 FedEx rankings are going to be competing for the title. Conversely however, the defending champion. Russell Henley will not be on the field.
