Will Paige Spiranac steal the show at the 2024 Creator Classic? What do you think?

“I don’t handle pressure well at all,” wrote the golfing diva Paige Spiranac on her X handle. Unfortunately, she was alluding to the upcoming event at East Lake Golf Club, the 2024 Creator Classic. Even so, the female golfer will be hoping to emerge victorious at the inaugural tournament. But standing against her and the trophy would be the rest of the athletes at the contest.

As per the official field set by the PGA Tour, the Creator Classic will witness a total of 16 content creators duking it out on the iconic course. Spiranac, however, sports the lowest odds among the influencers as she hopes to make a comeback into competitive golf after a whopping 8 years. And consequently, the question naturally arises; when will she tee off at East Lake Golf Club?

Time (all times ET)Groups (10th tee)

The golfers will tee off at the newly restored back nine of the iconic venue in a foursome. Each athlete of the group, meanwhile, will tee off as an individual while following the stroke play format. With no handicap system in place, each of the group will tee off at the par-4, 426-yard, 10th hole at different timings through the par-4, 17th. The top 5 athletes will then compete at the 18th hole to determine the winner of The Creator Classic. Truly understandable why the golfers may seem anxious!

Paige Spiranac’s nervousness ahead of the 2024 Creator Classic

“It’s the week of the Creator Classic!” exclaimed Spiranac on X as she added, “Although nervous to play competitive stroke play again (it’s been 8 years) I’m excited for this amazing opportunity! The goal is to have fun.” The social media influencer had last played competitively in 2016. Back then she had won an event on the Cactus Tour by beating the likes of Hannah O’Sullivan.

But as the year went on, she found it difficult to cope with the mental struggles of staying as a professional golfer. The fact that she didn’t manage to earn her LPGA Tour card also added to the struggle and Paige Spiranac retired from being a pro golfer at the age of 29. However, that move turned out to be a blessing in disguise as she became a top influencer in the sport.
