As per reports, May 26 would witness a very small chance of a rain shower (0–2%) with a partly sunny atmosphere. The temperatures, meanwhile, are forecasted to be as high as 38 °C (100.4 °F) and as low as 21 °C (69.8 °F) in the mornings. That’s not all. There would also be the presence of a breeze, with winds blowing south-west at a speed of 20kmph.

It seems like the day’s play would go on without any unfavorable outcomes if one looks at the forecast. However, one shouldn’t forget the second round which experienced a “dangerous weather situation” leading to the electricity within 10 miles of the course being affected resulting in the play being called off at 5:05 p.m. local time Friday.

The heat will play a vital role on Sunday as the tournament will witness the warmest weather of the week on the final day. The golfers will be expected to play in a hot, muggy, and mostly sunny atmosphere thereby making it a challenge for them to compete for the same.

The golfer had pulled out of the second round of the Charles Schwab Challenge before the play was suspended citing illness as the reason. What awaited the community on Saturday, however, was the news of his passing. Even so, his parents expressed their wish for the event to go on during a call they had with Jay Monahan.

“I reached out to Grayson’s parents to offer our deepest condolences,” disclosed the commissioner before adding, “During that conversation, they asked that we continue with tournament play. They were adamant that Grayson would want us to do so. As difficult as it will be, we want to respect their wishes.” Tragic as it may seem, Murray’s family made sure to allow the golfer one last gesture to the sport he loved the most. Everyone in the community would be, thus, hoping the finale goes on without a hitch!
