After missing out on a Ryder Cup automatic selection spot due to a disappointing performance in the BMW Championship, Fowler is ready to bounce back. The latest updates indicate the Heartthrob of Golf World is going to have an exceptional fall season this year.

On August 23rd, a fan page for Fowler called “Rickie Fowler Tracker” turned to X (formerly Twitter) to convey the good news.

“#COMMITTED – Rickie Fowler has committed to the 2023 Zozo Championship,” read the post. The six-time PGA Tour champion will tee off at the Zozo Championship, starting on October 19.

The post also suggests that Fowler may compete in the Ryder Cup, starting from September 29. He may also demonstrate his abilities at the Hero World Challenge “if invited”, as well as the Grant Thornton Invitational, which is considered a “fun pro-am competition”.

Fowler had displayed amazing form last year in the Zozo Championship. He would look forward to repeat that performance. He may also have an exciting time being on the greens for other competitions as well.

The Zozo Championship, which will mark its fifth year of competition this year, will take place in Japan. World’s top players will showcase their skills on the golf greens. The said professional tournament is co-sanctioned by the Japan Golf Tour and the PGA Tour.

Last year, the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic Winner finished in the T2 position in the same competition alongside Andrew Putnam. They shared the same score, just one stroke behind the winner, Keegan Bradley.
