It seems the golf world is reaching new heights every day. The golfers are working hard to shatter the old records and create new ones almost during every round of every tournament. One golfer who recently carded his name in an epic record at East Lake Golf Club at the Tour Championship is Collin Morikawa

Morikawa entered a scoring club that one of his fellow golfers, Viktor Hovland, made his way into after his historic $3.6 million win in Illinois, last Sunday. Both the “Club 61” members recently showed their goofy side to the fans, leaving them in sheer hysterics.

The FedEx Cup Playoffs is a very honorable race that PGA Tour pros make their way to after a year of hard work. They play for three consecutive weeks to be crowned as the ultimate FedEx Cup winner. The game gets as interesting and fierce as it could on the course, as the only goal is just to win.

Just last week, during the BMW Championship, Max Homa created the course record of 62, only to get it shattered by Viktor Hovalnd’s stunning 61 during the final round. Hovland’s 61 was his career’s lowest score, and he set a record at Olympia Fields. The golfer was just on cloud nine afterward.

This week, the final event of the FedEx Cup, that is the Tour Championship, has begun and the golfers are just giving it their all for the $75 million race. During the tournament’s first day, Collin Morikawa shot a stunning 9 under, putting 61 on the board. This round was Morikawa’s pro career’s best round. The 26-year-old American golfer shot seven birdies, one eagle, and no bogeys to complete his career’s best round.
