Meanwhile, this kind of heckling towards Bryson DeChambeau has been going on for quite a few months. But at the 2021 BMW Championship, it seemed to have crossed the line. Bryson gave his everything to win the event but unfortunately couldn’t get the trophy as he lost his rhythm in the playoffs.

Furthermore, a patron was heard yelling “Brooksie” to Bryson DeChambeau just after an unfortunate loss. The fans kept heckling him, and finally, Bryson understandably lost his temper and yelled back at the heckling patron.

DeChambeau had faced a similar situation at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, where Harris English had come to the defense. English had shared his perspective, saying, “It’s not real fair for them to call him ‘Brooksy’ a lot. It kind of sucks, and obviously, he hears it, and it affects him a little bit. He doesn’t like it, and I think that causes them to do it more.”
