In an interview with Sky Sports Golf, he mentioned how winning a major can change a golfer’s life and career.

Talking about what difference winning a Major makes, Woods said, “To be able to win one that just catapults you into another realm, to a different league of respect from your peers.”

“The players who have won major championships, and especially those who have won multiple understand how difficult it is.”

He further added, “A lot of the players… all of us can have hot weeks, right.” The golf legend added that while winning a major is a great feeling, winning multiple times would put one into a different realm.

Woods has won 15 major championships in his career. The golfer began winning major titles as soon as he turned pro; his first was at the 1997 Masters. He had won the championship with a 12-shot lead then.
