Tiger Woods is playing at the 2022 Masters. Since nobody had expected the golfer to be back in the sport this early after his accident, it was shocking news to everyone. And so they are excited to watch him play. However, do they think he can win the major championship?

The American sports analyst and the former NFL player Shannon Sharpe doesn’t believe Tiger Woods can win at the Augusta National! He expressed his opinion on the chat show Skip and Shannon: UNDISPUTED. Sharpe hosts the show along with the Sports Columnist Skip Bayless.

“I don’t know if he’s (Woods’) going to be able to get away with today with what he got away with yesterday,” Shannon said. “That’s my concern.”

According to the reports, the wind at the Augusta on Friday was going to blow at 30 miles per hour. And Sharpe believed it would be impossible for Woods to make it to the next round with the strong wind. “I would feel better if he had a very healthy leg,” he added. “and he got a couple of tournaments upon his belt before he came here.”

Before being an analyst, Sharpe has been a successful NFL player. In his 16 years of career with Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens, he has won three Super Bowls. He is also an inductee of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

After being the co-host of the chat show with Skip Bayless, Shannon has often reflected on his take on different events in sports. And this time, he thinks Woods has no chance at winning the Masters.

However, Bayless had a different opinion about the topic. According to him, Woods has a 20% chance of winning at the Augusta National this week.

He had entered into the second round on Friday with a 1-under par score. However, it soon changed after he bogeyed the first hole. He followed it with many other bogeys and put himself at 4-over par. However, his multiple birdies had helped him and let him finish with a 2-over par

After the 36 holes of both rounds, Woods now stands at the T19 position on the leaderboard. Furthermore, this is the 23rd time in 24 times that he has made cuts in the Masters Tournament.
