The 2024 PGA Tour calendar’s first event is set to kick off in grand fashion. The Sentry would start on January 4th while continuing to entertain the community until the 7th, Sunday. Meanwhile, duking it out on The Plantation Course at Kapalua in Maui would be the top 59 golfers in the world, hoping to make a great start to the year.
The fans would be indubitably hoping to witness a dominant display of golf by the top stars of the sport. Moreover, the winner’s cut from the $20 million, coupled with the OWGR and the FedEx points would surely push the athletes to give it their all. Well then, it’s only natural for the community to wonder when the athletes would be teeing off!

With the top golfers coming onto the field in the first event on the calendar, many would be hoping to claim the trophy which does not boast a defending champion owing to Jon Rahm’s defection. What’s more, with many big names gracing the course in the no-cut limited-field event, there would undoubtedly be some favorites for the fans who would be looking to catch them on the greens.

The top professionals of the game, including the World No.1 Scottie Scheffler, would be teeing it off against Jordan Spieth and Viktor Hovland as they got paired off against each other on Thursday and Friday. Following the same, Max Homa would see himself playing against Ludvig Aberg and Rickie Fowler while Xander Schauffele gears up to play his first and second rounds with Collin Morikawa and Tom Kim.
Tony Finau would see himself battling it out with Tommy Fleetwood and Patrick Cantlay. Meanwhile, the rest of the fields including the likes of Keegan Bradley and Wyndham Clark see themselves tee it off against Matt Fitzpatrick & Tyrrell Hatton and Sam Burns & Sahith Theegala respectively.
