Did Scottie Scheffler's arrest saga just inspire the most creative Halloween costume of the year?

Halloween outfits must embody a sense of fear and spookiness. Well, what is more spooky than even the thought of spending your time in jail? Ahead of the second round of the PGA Championship in Valhalla, police officials arrested Scottie Scheffler due to a misunderstanding in front of the course while he drove past a police officer. While they have dismissed all the charges against him, it shall continue to be one of the most shocking incidents in the life of the PGA Tour Pro.

A kid on Instagram took the assignment with utter dedication and dressed up accordingly. A golf fan took to his official Instagram account and uploaded a picture of his daughter dressed as the World No. 1 and his son as the arresting officer. The pictures were adorable, as they performed the entire cosplay of the arrest. To show the dismissal of the case, we saw the siblings embracing each other.

They captioned it, “Dad got to choose the Halloween costumes this year! Gotta get yourself a limited edition orange caddie uniform at http://caddieuniform.com!” Scottie Scheffler has yet to comment on the post but turns out Max Homa has already made his stance. During the incident, the officer, Detective Bryan Gillis, sustained a cut wrist and torn pants.
