Miles Russell, a high schooler from Florida, has now achieved a staggering feat in his golfing career. The young golfer has made history by becoming the youngest player ever to be named the American Junior Golf Association’s Boys Player of the Year, surpassing the record of the legend Tiger Woods.

In a tweet recently, Sean Martin, an editor at PGA, announced that Russell is now named the Boys Player of the Year. The record was previously held by Woods, who achieved the feat in 1991, and now, three decades later, the 14-year-old stands in the company of the legend.

The tweet read: “Miles Russell turned 15 yesterday. He was named @AJGA Boys Player of the Year today, breaking Tiger Woods’ record for the youngest player to ever win that prestigious award. Russell and Woods are the only 15-year-olds to ever win the award, as well.”

This achievement is a big achievement in Russell’s career. Here’s a glimpse at what happened on the greens that led to this historic moment being created.
