Woods was a prodigal talent before conquering the sport itself, having won his first major championship in 1997. His achievements date back to even before he was a teenager. And in a surprise of sorts, the 82X PGA Tour champ divulged one of the reasons behind his accolades and wins in the past.
A tweet was uploaded by TWLEGION, a fan community dedicated to the legend, which showed the 15X major winner engaging in some golf shots. When asked about the club that the legend was using to tee the ball, the 47-year-old revealed how it was the same driver that he “drove with when he (Woods) was 11.”
Moreover, continuing with his response, the professional also admitted how it was the same equipment he used to play which boasted a total of 113 titles. Moreover, in the summer when he was 11, the young golfer had won 36 trophies in the same number of starts. The bystanders were surprised with the reveal followed by the interviewer hilariously remarking how the club “should be in a museum.”
