A change for Rickie Fowler in 2024? It seems like the new year has brought with it a lot of updates for the 35-year-old. In a piece of surprising news, Fowler was reportedly spotted without a Farmers logo on his headgear ahead of the first event on the PGA Tour schedule, The Sentry. Moreover, sources speculate the golfer to ditch yet another partnership with a different brand.

As per sources, the 6X PGA Tour pro no longer has the Farmers Insurance or the Rocket Mortgage sigils on his hat or shirt respectively. Although it was reported that “sponsor updates” would be taking place in 2024, nothing concrete has been provided by the athlete or the brand regarding the current status!

Nevertheless, sources report a hit for the collaborations even though “No official word” has been given if the two have “parted ways” or if the pro has “just decided to no longer have the logos but still be sponsored by them.”

Rickie Fowler’s long-lasting collaborations

The American signed with Farmers Insurance in 2012 since which he has been an ambassador for the brand till now. The two entities were visibly content with their alliance back in 2015 when Farmer extended its partnership with the male athlete.

He was even spotted expressing his excitement to extend his “longstanding relationship” with his partner all the while being able to “positively impact a number of communities and youth, develop fun and entertaining content,”  including a ‘Tee it up! For Kids’ Youth Clinic, and initiatives on disaster recovery. What about the partner group? Mike Linton, chief marketing officer for Farmers Insurance, had once stated in 2015, “Our relationship with Rickie is about much more than golf. It’s based on shared values we each have to the community,” while conveying his exhilaration in working with the pro.

Moving on, adding to the list of separation speculation is the 2X DP World Tour champ’s rumored split with Rocket Mortgage. Fowler had signed a deal with the Detroit-based retail lender in April 2015 following which he had taken on the mantle of being the pitchman for the Quicken Loans’s online wing.

The duo were also on good terms back then as the 6X PGA Tour champ was visibly excited to become an ambassador for the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Commenting on the same, he said, “Rocket Mortgage and Quicken Loans, what they’re doing in the city of Detroit and surrounding areas, it’s great to be able to help out and see a real change in a city,”  while expressing his eagerness to leave a mark in the society. Moreover, his win at the 2023 edition of the event makes it an even more special name to be associated with.

Well, despite being on good terms with each other, speculations seem to have arisen of a possible break-up between the golfer and the two brands. Although past records show the pair of partners having much love to work with each other, only time will tell if they are able to hold on to the same in 2024 amidst all the rumors.
