Playing on the PGA Tour is one of the biggest honors in the world of golf and many would agree. Many players who have been dominating the Jay Monahan-led circuit for years have qualified for the 2025 PGA Tour easily. When considering the qualifying criteria for the current and last five seasons, many golfers including the likes of Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler, have qualified by being the former winners of the Players Championship and other prominent players like Hideki Matsuyama and Tiger Woods have qualified as a former Masters Tournament winner.
Along with the prominent ones, many golfers have got their first-ever PGA Tour card for the upcoming year and some of them are returning to the PGA Tour in 2025. Well, who are these talented men?

1. Tim Widing: The 26-year-old, Tim Widing has been pretty dominant at the Korn Ferry Tour. 2. Steven Fisk: After finishing as the runner-up in the 2024 Memorial Health Championship, Steven Fisk has comfortably secured his spot in the top 30 of the Korn Ferry Tour. Do you know what this means? This means he will get his PGA Tour card for 2025. Frisk has been swinging the clubs since he was just five years old. He started at Rum Creek Golf Course in Stockbridge, which, according to him, made good at putts. In his own words, “When I was younger, I wasn’t very big and all the greens at Rum Creek were elevated, so you had to be pretty accurate if you wanted birdie putts. That molded my game.”
3. Max McGreevy: “I feel like I see it all the time on TV. I see (former housemate) Scottie (Scheffler) do it every week; these guys actually have putts to win,” McGreevy said after claiming a thrilling win against Steven Fisk in the Memorial Health Championship. This got him the 2025 PGA Tour card. The win must have been the cherry on the cake for the 29-year-old, with the cake being the news he got a week prior to his win that he was going to be the father of a baby girl.

4. Harry Higgs: After triumphing in the 2019 Price Cutter Charity Championship that assisted the 32-year-old Higgs in finishing fifth in the Korn Ferry Tour, he earned the tour card for the 2019–20 PGA Tour season. Now, once again, Higgs secured his place in the top 30 of the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour Points List. He did that after finishing at T4 at the Compliance Solutions Championship. Talking about the current, Korn Ferry ratings, Higgs is holding the fourth position. Just what a good friend would do in such a situation was done by Higgs’ friend Joel Dahmen. On Higgs’s return to the PGA Tour in 2025, Dahmen, at the RBC Canadian Open, said, “It wasn’t a matter of if he was coming back, it was just a matter of when.”

After learning this feat, Dickson could not contain himself and said, “I might tear up, I don’t know. I’m going to go home tonight, see the family; it will probably sink in right then.”
With these players excelling in the 2024 Korn Ferry Tour, will be able to make the most of their 2025 PGA Tour card? Only time will tell.
