From its inception, many golfers have associated with the new venture from the TMRW league including Xander Schauffele who is currently at the East Lake Golf Club gearing up for the 2023 TOUR Championship. Each golfer might have their own reasons as to why they decided to take part in the tech-infused league and the same came to be the case of the American golfer as he opened up about it in an interview a while back.

In a press conference ahead of the FedEx Cup finale, the 29-year-old was asked about his decision to join the duo’s ‘Primetime Golf League’. Schauffele expressed his excitement for the same as he replied how the venture could turn out to be a really interesting way to grow the game. Moreover, the golfer said, “They’re (Tiger and Rory) pretty powerful names to approach your own name to” as he mentioned how it would be a wonderful opportunity for him as well.

But even so, Xander made sure to emphasize how it would turn out to “be a pretty cool thing to be a part of” as he continued with his response. “It’s more of an entertainment, I would say, aspect to it versus sort of like a competition,” resumed the golfer as he explained his reasons for joining the league. Adding to his point, he talked about how the environment would be an intimate one which would indubitably help in the growth of the game.

Everyone is excited and is eagerly waiting for the TGL to start as many in the sporting world heavily invest in the same. The golf community saw sports personalities such as Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian buying one of the teams in the league. And in another massive announcement, a billionaire went ahead to invest in the new venture by engaging in the same act as the tennis star!
