2024 brought with it a lot of change! Similar became the case with Rickie Fowler as well, as he stepped into the new year. The reason? Well, there were a lot of speculations surrounding the split between the professional and his long-time partners, namely the Farmers Insurance and the Rocket Mortgage.

Not too long ago, a piece of shocking news hit the community as the golfer’s partnership with the Farmers was confirmed to have come to an end in 2023. But, despite the setback, it appears all hope has not been lost, as a long-standing contract with the other collaborator seems to be still on!

At the Sentry, which marked the start of the new 2024 calendar, the pro was seen without two of his partner’s logos: the Farmers, which went on the right side of his hat, and the Rocket Mortgage on his shirt’s right sleeve. However, the speculations of the split saw an end as it came to be confirmed that Fowler and the former’s collaboration came to an end after 11 long years in 2023, following the start of a fruitful partnership in 2012.

But even so, a tweet was posted a while back on X mentioning how the American “is in the works to renew his Rocket Mortgage contract.” Moreover, if everything goes well, the alliance, which originated in 2015 following a lucrative deal with Quicken Loans, would see a renewal with the defending champion of the Rocket Mortgage Classic.

Commenting on the same, the six-time PGA Tour champ said, “We have something in the works to move forward but it hasn’t been finalized yet.” Adding on, he mentioned how there is a “good chance” that “we will have the logo and move forward with the partnership,” while alluding to the “near future.”

However, while all this was happening, the rumored split led to yet another piece of speculation. What was it, you ask? Banter arose that the missing logos on the gear meant that he was set to join LIV Golf.

When the 35-year-old came to know about the rumors that arose owing to the missing sigils, he was surprised. But he was quick to respond to the same while divulging how the community doesn’t “have to worry about that.” Moreover, with all the developments taking place as a result of efforts from players like Tiger Woods, and Jordan Spieth, among others, he expressed his belief that everything would end up “in a good spot” all the while disclosing how he has “zero plans to go anywhere.”

The golfer pointed out how it was unfortunate and saddening that each professional on the PGA Tour or the DP World Tour has to declare their loyalty to the circuit every time. But even so, he was understanding of the situation owing to the recent defection of Jon Rahm to the Saudi-backed league.
