A chance for Nike? There had been speculation of the Swoosh moving out of the golf industry even before Tiger Woods’s split with the brand. Consequently, the recent separation truly paints a concerning picture for the apparel company in the realm of golf. But it’s not as if all hope has been lost. There is one person who has managed to challenge the legend, none other than Paige Spiranac.

The blonde beauty propelled herself to fame owing to the content she shares as a model and athlete. Her rising acclaim in the sport has managed to allow her to go toe to toe with the legend in terms of popularity. Case in point: with the PGA Tour pro exiting the iconic partnership, all heads do indubitably turn towards the golf diva, the only person who can help the brand survive in golf!

The effect of Swoosh in golf took a big hit as, apart from Woods, many big names, including Jason Day and LIV Golfer Mathew Wolff, also left the brand. However, if anyone can help the brand sustain itself, it might be Spiranac. The reason? Boasting more than 3.9 million followers on her social media, including Instagram and X, the diva had earlier managed to one-up Mr.T, who has a total of 3.3 million followers.

The apparel company can, thus, focus on the influencer through the Nike US Affiliate Program. The initiative partners itself with many established websites and personalities to “earn commission by promoting Nike products” and “monetize their traffic” through social media.

On that note, the ex-golf pro, who is also the second most searched person in golf after the 48-year-old, says a lot about her influence on the game. Moreover, she has managed to rake in a lot of money—about $14,000 for each sponsored post—that the model shares on social media.

The 30-year-old can truly help the apparel brand sustain itself in the sport of golf. However, curiosity naturally arises as to whether Swoosh would be the only brand that would enjoy her popularity if she signed a deal.

In addition, the athlete also earns a lot of money from her OnlyPaige website. The OnlyFans rival site allows access to exclusive content to her ardent fans, who can pay a subscription fee of $9.99 per month or $99.99 annually. Given all that she has managed to garner, it does make one wonder if the brand would, in the end, turn to the influencer for succor in its trying times!
