The former professional golfer Paige Spiranac, too, found the video funny and shared it on her Twitter with an interesting caption.

The video got a lot of attention on the internet as the golf world couldn’t decide what was actually happening. In the video, Thomas is seen on the range practicing ahead of the last round of the Masters.

At first glance, the golfer seems to top the ball on the range as the camera focus on him. As a result, the ball seemed to lose its distance and bounced in front of Justin. And this is what most of the golf world, including Spiranac, thought happened on the range.

However, another theory says that the golfer hit the ball perfectly, and it reached its distance. But his club accidentally hit on another ball, and that ball is seen bouncing on the range.

Furthermore, a small dispute between the fans on Twitter on the matter has already begun.

Many even thought the video was encouraging as it shows even the professionals make mistakes.

It is hard to choose right and wrong in this discussion. Unless Thomas himself acknowledges it and says what had actually happened there, it is impossible to know the truth behind it.

Justin Thomas at the Masters

The 2022 Masters Tournament is Thomas’ seventh time playing at the Augusta National. Although he has never won the tournament, Thomas has always made the cut. Moreover, the closest Thomas has reached to the first position was in 2020, when he finished solo fourth.

Thomas made the cut this year as well at the Augusta National by scoring an impressive 5-under 67 in the second round. Meanwhile, the golfer was one of the few to finish round three with an overall under-par score. Thomas had scored an even-par 72 in round 3.

The current world no. 1 Scottie Scheffler has dominated the leaderboard with an overall 9-under par after round 3. He is in strong contention to win the major as he had a 3-shot lead before entering the final round.
