This year, Tiger Woods made a remarkable comeback at the PNC Championship, where he teamed up with his son Charliе and tied for fifth position. The 15x major winner showed glimpses of his old magic, hitting some impressive shots and walking without pain.
He also played at the Hero World Challenge, his own event, and excited his fans. As his fans eagerly anticipate witnessing Mr. T in competitive golf once more, this question lingers: Will they have the opportunity to see him on the golf course in 2024?

In November, the 82x PGA Tour winner said that he is not ready to resume a full-time schedule on the PGA Tour yet. Wood’s would play “a tournament a month” in 2024, focusing on the majors. He needs to get in better shape and improve his stamina to play four rounds of golf at the highest level.
One of the events that Woods could play in 2024 is The Sentry Tournament of Champions but, the chances are less. The Sentry is the first Signature event of the PGA Tour season, and it will take place from January 4 to January 7 at the Plantation Course at Kapalua in Maui, Hawaii.
The Sentry is an exclusive event that features only the winners of the previous PGA Tour season, plus the top 50 players in the FedExCup standings. Woods has won the event twice, in 1997 and 2000. However, he has not played there since 2005. Woods has not officially confirmed or denied his participation in The Sentry, but there are some indications that he might skip it. According to the PGA Tour, Woods is not among the players who have committed to play as of now.

Woods has a lot of options to choose from in 2024, but The Sentry might not be one of them. He might prefer to start his season later when he feels more confident and comfortable with his game and his body. Whatever Woods decides, his fans will be eager to see him play again in 2024.
