The hype is rising. The tension is high. The Farmers Insurance Open has thrown everyone into an anxious state to predict who will win at the end. Meanwhile, as all of this is transpiring, it seems the golfer at the top of the leaderboard couldn’t handle the stress that came out as a result. Yes, we are talking about Stephan Jaeger himself.
The athlete is currently in the T1 position, all thanks to his amazing performance on the greens at 11-under. However, the professional’s actions managed to pull all the attention to him once more, albeit for a different purpose, courtesy of an embarrassing video on the Reddit community.

A post was shared by a user on Reddit showcasing a clip of the PGA Tour pro in the midst of gearing up for the 17th hole on Saturday. Interestingly, what transpired was nothing short of hilarious and embarrassing, as the golfer decided to take a toilet break. But there’s a catch. He relieved himself among the trees to the side of the tee box. Well, guess what! It was shown on live TV.
As the airborne camera flies past the 17th tee, it shows and focuses on the athlete climbing down the small hill to do the deed. But even so, the act of relieving stress didn’t make a difference, as he could only finish the hole on a bogey. Nevertheless, what awaited the 34-year-old was chaos as the community took to garlanding him with praise and hilarious responses, all thanks to the Reddit post that came about.
Does the situation ring a bell? Take a look back at the 2023 Masters Tournament and the Sony Open. Jon Rahm had frequented the bathroom a total of five times, following which the Spaniard asked for “a freaking Port-a-Potty on every hole.” Although the circuit had answered his prayers by announcing how a total of eight bathrooms would be available starting in 2024, it appears it did not help out the German professional much.

Even the golfer wouldn’t have imagined the amount of response he raked in as a result of the same. The post garnered a lot of comments just three hours after it was posted in the community.

There were a lot of reactions from various users in the Reddit community, ranging from those humorously commenting on his form while taking a toilet break to those commenting on how it was shown on TV. Let’s take a quick look at some of them.

The most-upvoted comment! A fan went ahead to comically respond that the golfer was able to showcase excellent form while engaging in the act. They commented, “Good stance, good grip. take note kids.” Meanwhile, another user followed suit as they reacted similarly: “Absolute pro with that angle, little chance of errant drops on the pants.”
Another supporter was able to catch it while it was broadcast on television. They couldn’t hold the excitement in, it seems, as they rushed to the social media platform, as was noted from his comment, “Lmao watched it live and lost it! Rushed to Reddit to see if anyone else noticed it!”
Well, the broadcast seems to have reached many in the community, and it appears the placement of the shot made all the difference. A fan pointed out the same as they said, “And right next to the score graphic where everyone will look.”

Here’s another hilarious one. Interestingly, it connects Rahm’s defection to the toilet issue instead of the money and the legacy that was offered by LIV Golf in the sport. They went ahead to comment; “No wonder Rahm left, he must of been tired of getting spied on while taking a leak on the course.”
An amateur golfer could finally breathe a sigh of relief as they were able to spot a similarity between themselves and the professional players. But, mind you, it’s not gameplay; “I finally achieved similarity in my game with a professional golfer.” Another user also commented something along the same lines when a person asked who the athlete in the video was: “Who is that?” to which they replied, “All of us.”
A jab at the men’s circuit. An enthusiast savagely took to the comments section to show off their pun skills as they went ahead to humorously comment, “He put the pee in PGA.”
