Jon Rahm has created quite a stir with his LIV Golf move. The world no. 3 had been making the headlines for the past few weeks because of his rumored move to the Saudi-backed league. But now, in a million-dollar move, the golfer has ditched the PGA Tour and joined hands with LIV Golf and Greg Norman.

The Spaniard’s move, however, within just hours had led to a butterfly effect. Now, allegedly, the 2-time major winner may be poaching two massive icons from the PGA Tour to join his team in LIV Golf!

It’s been only a couple hours since Rahm officially announced his switch to the Saudi-backed league, but for the PGA Tour, it seems like that isn’t the only big blow. NUCLR GOLF, soon after the Spanish golfer’s deflection news, took to X to break the news about two more golfers following in his footsteps.

As per the snippet in the tweet from the Spanish golf website Ten Golf, American PGA Tour star Tony Finau and Englishman Tyrrell Hatton “could be” among the big names that may follow Rahm to the other side and join his team on LIV.

Neither of the two golfers has yet commented on or confirmed these rumors; however, a question about the extent of these speculations still looms.

Looking at the trajectory of Jon Rahm’s presence on the pro golfing tour this year, the golfer’s moves from the very get-go were hinting towards the deflection. Rahm did not play in any of the PGAT events after the Ryder Cup. He did not take part in the Hero World Challenge and even withdrew his name from Tiger Woods’s TGL, remaining silent all the while about the LIV Golf rumors.

In contrast to this, if we look at Tyrrell Hatton or Tony Finau, both players have had a packed schedule on the PGAT and the DPWT this year. Hatton played at the Hero World Challenge alongside Woods last weekend. He is also on the PGAT-backed TGL fray, and so his chances of leaving, when compared to Rahm’s trajectory, look bleak.

Finau had a fledged year on PGAT as well. He is all set to take the greens this weekend at the PGAT and LPGAT mixed-event Grant Thornton Invitational with Nelly Korda. Looking at how the players are still booked with their PGAT commitments, it doesn’t seem like they are currently looking at a move. But what the future actually holds for them, only time can tell. Till then, stay tuned!
