After the mysterious withdrawal of Jon Rahm’s name from the TGL website, fans got confused about what had actually happened. There were no official updates from either the TGL’s side or Rahm. A few hours back, Alan Shipnuck tweeted about how “Rahm’s been a long-standing lust object for LIV.” With the recent release of his book “LIV and Let Die” Shipnuck has been engaging in conversations about LIV golf more actively than ever before. Now, his latest update adds weight to the theory about Rahm moving to LIV. Shipnuck more recently tweeted about inside information on the LIV-PGAT merger. He wrote, “the framework agreement is falling apart.”
From talking to folks on Wall St. and in Silicon Valley who are close to the deal, the framework agreement is falling apart. Fenway Sports Group has put in a monster bid to usurp the PIF. It looks increasingly likely we go back to LIV vs. the Tour. https://t.co/jfAvBO4B9y

He added that the Fenway Sports Group is in talks to invest in the PGAT, which changes the whole narrative. This could be a change in Jay Monahan’s approach toward the merger and could change things. Is Shipnuck indicating that the merger may not come through? Perhaps, yes.
He also speaks about how the whole deal was probably miscommunicated to the public. He opined that maybe the organizations should have just announced that the litigations would be dropped and the rest they would figure out later. Coming back to Jon Rahm, is he moving to LIV? What does Shipnuck think about it?

Shipnuck believes maybe Rahm entered the TGL scene to stand with Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. And perhaps with the recent developments, he might have lost faith in the league. Well, whatever the reason, one of the concerned golfers will soon open up on this conflict. And it’s going to be as dramatic as it can get.
