A change for Keegan Bradley in 2024! The year had been, and still is in the process, it seems, of witnessing many athletes changing their sponsors. Now, it is none other than Bradley who has gone ahead and changed his sponsors in the third week of January. In a surprising move, he has now signed with Flag and Anthem and entered into a partnership with the brand, making them his new “apparel sponsors” for the year.

This comes as nothing short of a surprise for his fans. The professional had previously been in an endorsement deal with none other than TravisMathew. The two had been partnered with each other for a whopping nine years from the start of 2015.

Similar to the Hot Stove League in Major League Baseball where the teams undergo changes during the off-season, the end of the year in the golf world is also marked with many a golfer making their way to new sponsors. Back in December 2014, a 29-year-old golfer had left his previous partner, Tommy Hilfiger, and signed another with another American clothing brand.

What transpired from that moment onwards was a fruitful partnership that almost lasted a decade. The professional joining the brand went ahead to fill a void that came about when their only major champ, Bubba Watson, left in 2013. “We are excited to welcome Keegan Bradley to the  TravisMathew family,” said Travis Basher, the CEO of the company. Adding on, he mentioned how the 2011 PGA Championship winner was “a perfect fit for our(sic) brand and exemplifies the TravisMathew culture both on and off the course.”

Well, what about Bradley? Even he was very exhilarated about joining the American label. When asked about the same back then, the 2011 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year expressed his elation as he said, “I am extremely excited to be joining team TravisMathew.” Continuing with his response, he stated, “I couldn’t think of a better fit for my personal style,” as he stepped up his color game from shades of blue, white, and red to those of black, grey, and navy along with tones of pale blues, and greens.
