He was snubbed for the President’s Cup! But no worries, for an even greater moment seems to be awaiting the golfer in the upcoming months, especially in November. Justin Thomas hasn’t had the best of years this season, with just five top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour. Regardless, he made sure to be grateful for the same while divulging his plans of becoming a dad this year.
“It will be nice to have some time to work on things,” wrote Thomas on his Instagram handle in a new post. He also disclosed how he is looking forward to the “foundation event, some R&R, and even becoming a dad at the end of November!” Yes, you read that right! The athlete, along with his wife, Jillian Wisniewski, will be welcoming their first child this year in two months.
November might turn out to be lucky for the couple, owing to the upcoming birth of their baby, coupled with the fact that they even got married in the same month back in 2022. Coming back to the present, the golfer will, anyhow, hope to wash away the not-so-impressive 2024 that he experienced, including not making it to the President’s Cup team.

“I’m obviously very bummed to not be joining the boys in Canada for @presidentscup,” wrote an understanding Thomas on his post. Even so, he added how the skipper, Jim Furyk, has put together a great team while exuding determination for the future; “I will be the first one pulling for them and watching while using it as motivation to not miss a team event again as they are some of my favorite weeks I’ve had.”
That’s not all. The 31-year-old PGA Tour Pro also mentioned how he is looking forward to faring much better in the 2025 season. “While I’m excited for the “off-season”,” added the 2-time major champ, “I’m already looking forward to practicing and getting ready for Maui.” Thomas’ fans, meanwhile, would surely want him to keep his word as the golfer gears up for the 2025 Sentry. Moreover, they would also hope that he dishes out an even better year on the circuit than 2024.

Out of the total 19 events he teed off in, Justin Thomas made the cut in 15 of them. However, his best came at the American Express, where he carded a T3 finish, alongside two T5 placements at the RBC Heritage and the Travelers Championship. What’s more, throughout the season, although he was able to enter the top 20 on the OWGR owing to his performance, he failed to maintain the same, dropping down to 30, two spots behind where he started.

Nevertheless, the athlete seemed to be proud of the improvement that he picked up on through the year. While he did finish outside the top 30 in the events following the Travelers Championship, Thomas was able to place himself in the 7th position at the season-ending FedEx Cup finale. “Finishing the year in Atlanta @tourchampionship is something I never want to take for granted,” added the golfer, “I look forward to working to get back there next year.” Well, his fans would also be looking forward to the same, alongside the birth of his baby!
