The 2022 Masters was the first official event Tiger Woods played after his accident. Since he played all four rounds having no serious medical issues, his fans are looking forward to what’s next for him. And his long-time caddie Joe LaCava has got an answer to that.

“He had to be exhausted when he was talking physically and mentally,” LaCava said. “So it’s big that he committed.”

Woods had recently said he would only play at significant events from now on. The golfer confirmed his plan to play at the Open Championship. However, he was not sure if he would play at the Southern Hills for the PGA Championship.

“He didn’t say anything to me about the PGA,” LaCava added. The caddie explained that Woods wants himself to be ready for the Open Championship in July. “Will he be ready in five weeks?” LaCava further added. “I don’t think he really knows to be honest.”

LaCava didn’t confirm whether Tiger will play at the second major of the year. However, he ended the conversation with a positive note for the fans. “If the recovery goes well,” Joe LaCava said. “I guess he would like to give it a try.”
