Some things in golf are simply unpredictable. In a shocking turn of events, everyone was stunned to find out that the first player to get associated with the TGL other than Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy had been wiped off.
All traces of Jon Rahm have been ripped off of the TGL, even the social media pages. There is considerable buzz around this out-of-the-blue wipeout of such a prominent and big name in the field of golf. Fans cannot help but speculate if this could be due to a potential LIV golf move by the golfer.
Has Jon Rahm jumped ship?

The list of players competing in the inaugural season earlier had the name of Jon Rahm; however, overnight that name was taken down. TGL is the brainchild of Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy; it is a highly tech-infused league.
One of the first golfers to join the league was Jon Rahm. However, on October 31st, when the format and the list of players were released, his name was nowhere to be found. Fans of World No. 3 are jumping to all sorts of conclusions. The rumor has it that this could be due to his potential move to the Saudi-backed LIV Golf League.
TGL has formed a strategic alliance with the PGA Tour and is seen as a vital asset in the fight against LIV Golf. However, this move by such a big name would question the strategic alliance’s relevance altogether.
LIV big man Phil Mickelson recently even suggested that there will be a notable and well-known addition to LIV Golf in 2024. In light of Rahm’s recent exit, is that a hint that he’ll be joining the likes of Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, and Cameron Smith with a move to the Saudi side?

All prominent golf pages have also extended their takes on the matter at hand. The LIV Golf Nation Twitter page has rubbed it off by insinuating that everyone has a price and is free to walk away at any time. The page claimed that the “TGL roster is open for business and capable of walking.”
Jon Rahm's apparent exit from TGL shatters another corrupt golf media narrative that all players signed onto TGL are off-limits to join LIV.
Regardless of what happens with Rahm, it's clear every single player on the TGL roster is open for business and capable of walking.

The media has also taken notice of the social media posts being taken down that feature World Number 3.
🚨Something is going on with Jon Rahm but it’s very clear he is no longer associated with TGL Golf. Every single social media post has been scrubbed. He was one of the first to be introduced after Tiger and Rory as part of the league. Is the world #3 on the move? 🤔 pic.twitter.com/JWCapKAqIP

Fans are speculating that, due to his drop in form, maybe he thinks moving to LIV is a stable option.
He fell out of form late in season. Maybe he thinks he can’t compete on PGA Tour anymore so LIV would be logical move.
