Is Tiger Woods all ready for his 2024 PGA Tour debut? Well, the golfer is currently gearing up for the Genesis Invitational, which is set to kick off in the golf world soon. Naturally, the focus of his fans shifts to the golfer’s ankle, which underwent surgery following his 2023 Masters appearance at Augusta National. However, it appears the pro has other concerns at the moment.
The 48-year-old revealed a while ago how his surgically repaired ankle is currently pain-free ahead of the PGAT signature event. However, he spoke candidly about another worry that is currently bedeviling him, as a tweet from TWLEGION divulged the same. It mentioned how “the challenges of trying to get ready to be tour-ready have been ongoing for the last couple weeks.” Alluding to the same, the handle mentioned the “difficulties of the aging body” before going ahead to reveal how the golfer was ensuring that he could be “physically ready” for the upcoming tourney.

The 48-year-old divulged the details of his recovery during the recent presser ahead of the upcoming signature event on the men’s circuit. The interviewer had gone ahead to ask him about the training process and the things that crossed his mind while getting ready to host and play at the Genesis Invitational.
“It’s been an ongoing process,” said the 82-time PGA Tour champ as he replied to the query set forward by the interviewer. Adding on, he mentioned that it all comes down to how “the body feels from the day to day and the grind of trying to practice and get ready for an event,” along with the “aging process of it all,” as he referred to “the challenges” he faced during his recovery time ahead of the event.
Continuing with his response, the pro recounted how he was able to “try and get used to the new feels of the body” while referring to the two “soft events” he played at the Hero World Challenge and the PNC Championship. “We have our work cut out for us,” concluded the golfer as he expressed his desire to look forward to the start of the Genesis Invitational.

Tiger Woods’s performance at the two ‘soft events’
During his comeback tournament in 2023, the 15-time major champ was able to dish out a score of par 288 over the four days of play. This enabled him to finish at T18, ahead of Wyndham Clark and Will Zalatoris. Although it wasn’t the glorious return he hoped for, it was a successful one, nevertheless. Now, come December at the PNC Championship, the golfer along with his son finished T4 with scores of 8-under 64 and 11-under 61 on the two days of play at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club.

The professional seems to be all set up for the Genesis Invitational, which will kick off on February 15th. Many of his fans would undoubtedly be awaiting a glorious 2024 debut on the PGA Tour and Woods himself would be looking to not disappoint his followers as well. Well, we just need to wait a bit more.
