“I don’t want it back,” said the 48-year-old Woods when asked about what would happen with his TW logo that he registered around two decades ago. Adding on, he said, “No we don’t,” as he put his foot down, emphasizing how he doesn’t want the sigil back as he answered the question thrown at him ahead of the signature event on the PGA Tour.
Continuing with his response, the golfer said, “I’ve moved on,” as he alluded to the new line of apparel and footwear that he dropped a while back. “This is a transition in my life,” he expressed before continuing, “I moved on to Sun Day Red and we’re looking forward to building a brand that elicits excitement and is transformative.”
The new apparel and footwear label was released just a while back with a sigil that consisted of a jumping white Tiger made from a number of stripes. The lines on the logo allude to the number of major wins that he garnered during his golfing career, which is 15. Interestingly, the athlete had even divulged a while back how the logo would be revamped if he went ahead and won yet another major championship, increasing the figures to 16.
