The PGA Tour continues to maintain its pace the week after the Masters. With two crucial events coinciding this week, the Tour is all set to continue the golf flair in the sporting world. The Corales Puntacana Championship is one event being held from April 18–21, 2024, at the Corales Golf Club to keep the world swinging with these stars’ calculated swings, the other being the RBC Heritage held in South Carolina,

Notably, the event held in the Dominican Republic has some of the golf world’s brightest players present on its field, including world no. 34 Nicolai Hojgaard, who recently spread his glory at the Augusta National Golf Course, highlighting the field. After all, there is a total of $4 million at stake, with the winner’s payout set at $720,000. But where can you watch the action live?

This week is jam-packed with entertainment offered by the PGA Tour. Even though the defending champion, Matt Wallace, is not on the otherwise embellished field this year, some other past champions hope to earn the winner’s payout and the 300 FedEx points at stake.

For US citizens, the at-home experience will be tackled by the Golf Channel from Thursday to Sunday. The live streaming of the championship will be held at the same hours as the live broadcast and can be streamed live on Peacock.

Additionally, fans can also watch the PGA Tour live on ESPN+. Another way to enhance the at-home experience is by accessing a free trial of Fubo. Apart from Hojgaard, well-known players like Cameron Champ, Joel Dahmen, Alex Fitzpatrick, and Billy Horschel also highlight the field. But will the weather gods be on the PGA Tour’s side as they continue to make headlines?

Will the weather gods be on the PGA Tour’s side at the Corales Golf Club?

The luscious venue of the event can make the game more troublesome than usual if the wind gods choose so. Historically, high-speed winds have been a matter of concern for the Dominican Republic-based event. The weather reports for the time period of the event suggest that the weather will remain partly cloudy throughout the event.

On Thursday, it has been predicted that there will be northeast winds at 10 to 15 mph and a 7% rate of precipitation. This trend will continue for the rest of the event days, as well, as on Saturday and Sunday, there probably could be more speed winds capping at 20mph. It remains to see if the weather will act as an impediment in the broadcast or not.
