The four gospels of the golf world are the Majors. However, attaining a victory at them is not an easy task. This has been especially true of Max Homa who has not been fortunate enough to rake in his first major championship title. Well, even the American Pro agrees. But, as usual, the witty golfer has something else to add to the reason why there have been no such titles to his name, albeit in a humorous manner.
Known for his serious swag and humorous demeanor online, the professional took to his X handle (formerly Twitter) to take a jab at a fan who commented under one of his wife’s TikTok videos. Meanwhile, after doing so, it seems his fans couldn’t keep calm as they flocked to the post to express their opinions as well.

As usual, Homa decided to take to his online persona to divulge a surprising revelation about his wife, Lacey Croom. He tweeted how “Some clown commented on my(sic) wife’s tik tok that she and my son are holding me back from winning majors.” Adding on, however, he divulged, “I guess he hasn’t seen my record before having a kid. It’s even worse.”
That’s not all. He ended the post by sharing the moral of the story as well. Daringly disclosing his wife’s role in the midst of all this, the 33-year-old revealed, “It’s all my wife’s fault she’s been here for all of them,” while taking a witty jab at his wife and the follower who commented under his partner’s video.
The golfer and his wife met each other in 2013. Then comes 2022, the year when the couple welcomed their firstborn child, Cam Andrew Homa, on October 30th. Now, taking a look at the PGA Tour Pro’s major finishes, interestingly, his best placement came in the 2023 Open Championship, a year after his son was born.

Well, that does mark yet another instance where Homa displays his witty side again on X. Nevertheless, after such an amusing yet daring post, the community couldn’t help but rush over to the post and go crazy on it as a result.
Homa’s humorous side sends the golf world into a fervor
There were a lot of responses that emerged from the community. But some of them stood out, including those that ranged from humorously reacting to the athlete’s tweet on the same wavelength to providing a source of consolation to Homa. Nevertheless, let us take a quick look at some of them.
Larry Fitzgerald, the former American football wide receiver, took to his handle to provide encouragement and console the golfer. He went ahead to back up Homa’s decisions, all the while expressing how he doesn’t need to change for other people. The golfer agreed as well.

A fan commented on how everything is well and fine as long as the athlete’s wife, Lacey, wasn’t the reason behind Scottie Scheffler upping his putting game. He had done so in the recently concluded signature event, the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Unless your wife has been helping Scottie with his putting she’s not a fault.

Christopher McDonald, who is popularly known as Shooter McGavin, the former No. 1 golfer from the film Happy Gilmore, took to his handle to respond to the tweet as well. He asked if Brandel Chamblee was the one who commented under Lacey’s TikTok video.
Brandel?

Then came a fan with a solution to the post that the 6-time PGA Tour Pro shared on his X handle. The follower urged the 33-year-old to win the upcoming Masters Tournament, which is said to take place in April, as a reply to the person who commented about his wife and kid under the video.
You should win the Masters, as a bit.

Another enthusiast took on the role of the “clown” who commented the same under his wife’s video. Although it was done as a comical reaction, they went ahead and apologized for their behavior, blaming it all on them not winning any majors as well.
Sorry Max. I was just projecting because I haven’t won any majors since being married or having kids, either.

Meanwhile, a Homa fan-cum-father couldn’t help but get reminded of the golfer giving his son a fist bump during the final round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational that took place on Sunday. Moreover, he was extremely grateful, as well as he shared a snap of the encounter.
Speaking of sons… thanks for giving mine this moment yesterday. He knows you’re my favorite golfer so he was super pumped you gave him a fist bump 👊 pic.twitter.com/QR6x7JwqGn
