Last week, the golf pro announced his return to the PGA Tour, stating that he would be playing at the Riviera this week. And since then, fans have been keenly watching his every move on the course. Well, they sure would be glad now that they were watching this one!

At the 13th hole, the golf legend missed the fairway when the ball swerved right, straight toward the fans. For a minute, no one seemed to know where the ball went. Finally, a fan pulled off the jacket he had tied around his waist, and voila! The ball fell out. The video of him doing so soon went viral all over Instagram and Twitter. Many fans could not believe what they had just witnessed. They were green with jealousy! “Greatest moment of his life,” one fan commented, while another stated, “You want this kind of luck.” Some fans even called him the “luckiest fan alive” and “lucky af.”

But among the jealous rants, there were also those who didn’t believe the fan at all. To them, the story didn’t add up. “Sounds sketchy AF,” one fan wrote, while another said he was “100%” certain that the fan had picked up the ball and placed it in his jacket.

Some even claimed he should have helped the 15-time major winner out a little. “Should have said I was standing next to the green,” one fan commented. Another fan hilariously wrote, “If it were me, I’d run about 100 yards towards the hole and drop it there.”

Right after the shot vanished into the crowd, the fan stated that he suddenly noticed “a bump” in his jacket. “I pulled it off, and a ball dropped off,” he said proudly. “And it was his.” The enthusiastic Woods fan claimed that the golf legend had recognized him for other events he had attended. “He [the tiger] just shook his head and said it had to be you,” he said with a smirk. “Getting hit by Tiger Woods was just incredible.”
