The contrast of sorts emerged as an Instagram post became viral which mentioned both Tiger’s and McIlroy’s earnings in the game. Although the legend has not played much in the last couple of years, he has still managed to beat every other active player in almost all aspects of the game.

He ranks at the top in terms of his career earnings on the PGA Tour. The pro golfer is followed closely on his tail by ‘Rors’. There is a massive gap though between the golfers.

As per official records put up by the PGA Tour, Tiger boasts a career earning of $120,954,766 while LIV golfer Phil Mickelson takes the second spot with $96,572,310. McIlroy is third with $77,945,557, a $43 million separating him and Tiger. While the Instagram post by Golf Digest set them side by side, ignoring the LIV golfer completely, it also raised the question of whether the latter will ever catch up to Woods.

Although the TGL co-stars have been pulled into a rivalry of sorts unknowingly, they will definitely look to improve their numbers in the future. While it may take some time and effort, ‘Rors’ will undoubtedly try to push himself up on the board.
