The 15-time Major Champion and 82x PGA Tour winner is a renowned personality in golf. In 2021, Woods went through a car crash that injured his right leg and forced him to rest the same year.
Until he returned to the 2022 Masters at Augusta National after going through various surgeries, However, his primary focus was his health, so he played fewer events. His latest appearance was at the 2023 Masters, but his aggravated ankle injury pushed him to withdraw from the major.
After this, he went through plantar fasciitis surgery and has been improving off-court. The whole surgery and injury dilemma had also affected his OWGR rank. After spending 683 consecutive weeks at number one in the world, he has now come down to #1269 in the world, which was #1206 last year.
This is a drastic jump and a shock to his rich career. Despite his fast recovery, Woods needs exceptional results to reach his old career high again. But all is not lost for the 47-year-old, as a recent update hints at a comeback.

In September, Woods indulged in a clinic for the Nexus Cup and soon after accompanied his son as a caddie. Recently, he was spotted hitting a few shots at The Hay Pebble Beach with fellow golfers.
