After a commendable performance at the Nedbank Championship not too long ago, Justin Thomas has been spending some time off with his family amid the Thanksgiving season. Moreover, the golfer was spotted enjoying a different sport during his break as he took to his social media handle to share the happenings of the game.

In the recent update, he was spotted giving his all as a sports fan during the Iowa-Nebraska football game that took place a while back. And now, the American professional was seen bringing out his inner football fan once again as his recent updates on X showcased him being unable to sit still despite being on a break!

The PGA Tour pro had taken to his social media handle to express his excitement for the NCAA football game between Iowa and Nebraska. He mentioned how he couldn’t decide whether to “stop yelling” or “stop watching” all the while being unable to determine if this was the “worst” or “best” thing he ever watched. And a day after his hilarious tweet, the golfer rose again for another round.

In another update to his X handle, the 2X major winner came out expressing elation about the Iron Bowl that took place on November 25, Saturday. The golfer showcased his support for the Alabama Crimson Tide in their important rivalry match against Auburn Tigers as he took to his social media.

The player’s tweet read; “Death, taxes, and auburn playing their best football of the year at home in the Iron bowl. Cmon Bama!!!!!!!” Well, the words of encouragement uttered from the confines of his home did work for Alabama as they went ahead to win the match 27-24.

However, if one were to think that JT stopped there, they would be sorely wrong. He also decided to post another update to comment on the game that took place yesterday.

Thomas shares another update on the Iron Bowl

Although the game saw Alabama fans jumping with joy at the end of the match, there was a lot of tension going around as they were below their rivals at one point in the game, 20-21 in the 3rd quarter. This led to the American Ryder Cup star expressing his dissatisfaction with the referees as he pointed out how it “isn’t exactly the best officiated game” that the golfer has witnessed.

Well, he wouldn’t be able to complain now, would he? The Crimson Tide did win over the Tigers as they managed to turn it around in the 4th and final quarter, finishing the game, 27-24 at Jordan-Hare Stadium. A good day to be an Alabama fan!
