“Blegh!”: Viktor Hovland Becomes the ‘Awesome’ Kid in the Block with his love for Metal

Viktor Hovland has become a name in the past few weeks that everyone has become a little too familiar with. The young Norwegian star has collected a lot of fans for his professional feats, such as winning the BMW Championship, winning the FedEx Cup, and fixing his spot in the European Ryder Cup team. But other than being a stellar golfer on the course, he is also what some would call a goofball!

The 25-year-old likes to enjoy himself while he is on the course, but off the course as well, he thoroughly enjoys his time. One of the golfer’s favorite things to do is listen to music—not the regular music, but some “Blegh” music!

Viktor Hovland shares his choice of music 

Hovland’s FedEx Cup was not a shocking one since he successfully maintained the lead throughout the Tor Championship. He won two back-to-back FedEx Cup playoffs and humbly accepted his victories, not caring about the money that came along with his stellar wins.

During the first day of the Tour Championship, a video of Hovland and Collin Morikawa being chuckleheads went viral, and fans absolutely loved it. Well, maybe that chuckling video encouraged the PGA Tour to show more of Hovland’s fun side to his fans.

PGAT posted a parody video of the young golfer wherein he shared his favorite genre of music, and it was followed by clips of his shots with “metalcore” playing in the background. The video began with 6X PGA Tour sharing that his favorite genre of music is a little offbeat as he prefers “metalcore” music.

He laughed and said that musicians add a recurring word such as “blegh” in the song, and it makes it good to listen. The Tour created a video in which, in between Hovland’s shots, his face popped up saying “Blegh,” and it just sheerly left fans in hysterics. There was also a clip of the Norwegian golfer driving a car and enjoying some metalcore songs while shaking his head in joy.
