Daly and his son were able to emerge victorious at the 2021 edition of the tournament against Tiger Woods and Charlie, as they registered a score of 27 under 117 over the two rounds. And, this time around, the record breakers have confirmed their appearance for the upcoming 2023 event. However, the runners-up, the 82X PGA Tour champ, has been on a break owing to his surgery and is only rumored to make a comeback at the Hеro World Challenge.

Nevertheless, a lot of past champions have confirmed their appearances for the tournament. Let us take a quick look at some of them.

1. Vijay Singh and his son Qass Singh: The duo emerged victorious in 2022, beating the defending champions of the past two years by two strokes. The 3X major champ finished at 118 (-26) and managed to clinch the trophy in their 16th try at the PNC Championship.

2. Justin Thomas and his father, Mike Thomas: The two lifted the trophy back in 2020 against Team Singh, who came in second place, beating them by 1 stroke. Moreover, the Ryder Cup star was able to register a score of 25 under 119 over the two days with his longtime club professional dad. However, commenting after the tournament, he said, “A part of you didn’t care who won; we were here as father and son to enjoy a special moment.”

3. Bernhard Langеr and his son Jason Langеr: The iconic golfer and his family managed to claim their fourth victory at the PNC Championship in 2019. The 2X major winner won the first two editions in 2005 and 2006 with his son Stefan, while the last two, including the 2014 one, were with his other son Jason. The question is, will they be able to increase their tally to 5?
