The TGL team has released a statement to Golf.com about an incident that occurred in the SoFi stadium. The TGL is a virtually designed innovative golf league that uses technology heavily. Its stadium has an air-supported dome that has partially deflated due to an electric malfunction at the facility.
As per the statement, “An overnight failure to the temporary power system used during the construction phase caused partial deflation and limited damage to the air-supported dome section of the site.”
The statement added that there have been no injuries and that other work on the site will continue further. As for the damaged dome, it has been deflated fully and taken down. The crew are attending to it, fixing the same.
