Tiger Woods’ return to golf has been discussed widely of late, and he has been spotted on a golf course on a couple of occasions. One of them was the Last Chance Regional that happened a few days ago, where Charlie Woods dominated on the course. And fortunately, not only was the 15-time major winner present there, but he was also caddying for his son.

However, it seems like the duo aren’t the only parent-child stars grabbing the spotlight of late. In a similar situation, with a slight twist, former Ryder Cup Captain Steve Stricker was seen with his daughter Bobbi days ahead of the Constellation Furyk and Friends tournament, and the duo stole the show!

The Jim & Tabitha Furyk Foundation, which is a non-profit charity organization, is organizing a golf championship this week. The tournament is called the Constellation Furyk and Friends and will begin this Thursday. A pro-am round on Wednesday will precede the tournament.

The field includes Jim Furyk, of course, and other big names in the sport, including the defending champion this year, Steve Stricker. Furyk and Stricker have served as vice captains of the Ryder Cup teams frequently and share a great rapport both on and off the course.

Sharing space with her father is Bobbi Stricker, who will walk with him as his caddie for this tournament. The PGA Tour Champions’ official Twitter handle shared a picture of the adorable father-daughter duo. The two look ready to conquer the world.

Bobbi plays golf as well, as does her younger sister, Izzi. Notably, Izzi beat her elder sister in caddying for their dad when, earlier this year, in May, she served as Stricker’s caddie during the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship. The duo won the tournament after a tight playoff for the title!

Although the father gracefully accepted his daughters’ love and support in his games, he had also done the same for Bobbi last year.

The father-daughter duo has been forging family ties

Steve Stricker has been the caddie for Bobbi quite a few times. Most notably, he was on her bag in 2022, when she was at Stage II of LPGA qualifying school in November. Tweeting about the event after its completion, Bobbi wrote she wasn’t at her best during the event. However, she felt she was where she wanted to be in her golf career.

The family has been closely knit by golf, it seems. While the daughters and father have been supporting each other in their key moments, Bobbi also has a history of being her uncle Mario Tiziani’s caddie. The golf pro was playing at the PGA Tour Champions Qualifying Tournament, only days before Bobbi’s Stage II appearance. Offering her support to her uncle, the youngster served as his caddie for the event.

From what we see, family does come before all else for the Stricker family. And the golf world certainly hopes that we see more of their heartwarming journey in the sport!
