The new golf league led by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, TGL will soon kick off in January 2024. And since the league is associated with such big names, more and more investors are hoping to get their hands on this opportunity.

Laced with new technology, TGL will give fans and the players a new experience of golf within closed doors. Recognizing its potential, some big names have already made investments in the new brand. Now it looks kike Woods may have found a new digital ally.

Social media influencer interested in Tiger Woods’ new league?

Ever since its announcement, TGL has created quite a buzz in the golf market. The new league is bringing with itself a bundle of opportunities. Firstly, it will bring back Tiger Woods, who has been missing from action, back to active golf. It also emerges as another option for PGA Tour players to ply their trade.

More importantly, it is going to generate a lot of revenue. From Serena Williams to Stephen Curry TGL already has billionaires as its investors. Recently, SoFi Technologies announced itself as the founding and present sponsor of TGL.

And responding to a post by tmrwsports on Instagram, Golf content creator Roger Steele wrote, see y’all soon”. Steele’s comment has raised speculation that he could soon be joining the league either as a player or that he might invest in the mammoth event. The $7.25 billion worth SoFi Technologies Inc. has made its investment and will be lending its name to the sports venue as well.

The arena will be constructed at Palm Beach State College, Florida, and will accommodate around 2000 spectators. With Roger in his team, Woods could increase the influence of the tour.

Who is Roger Steele and what does he do?

Steele is a content creator and social media influencer. He is sponsored by brands like Callaway, Nike, Trap Golf, Five Iron Golf, and Dewar’s to promote and diversify the game. He is also the host of  Range Talk, which is a series from Callaway Golf that started last year. Since then he has received guests like Jon Rahm, Steph Curry, Larry Fitzgerald, and Annika Sörenstam.
