Destiny has not been in Tiger Woods’s favor for some time now. Ever since his near-fatal car crash in 2021, the loop of failed aspirations seems to have become a reality for the star and his fans. After almost a year of waiting, Woods made his professional appearance on the greens, only to sadly end in untimely withdrawal. However, now as it turns out, this withdrawal is not the worst thing to happen to the golfer. With this unfortunate move, came statistical information that could almost make every TW question his skills.

In the ‘alarming’ revelation, it has been confirmed that ever since the 48-year-old was involved in the car crash, he has only had six official starts. Yes, you heard that right. Now, what is shocking is that in his six starts, Woods has only been able to complete 72 holes twice, as per TourMiss, a golf news account on X. It was in the 2022 Augusta showdown and the 2023 Genesis where he finished at the 47th spot, and  45th spot respectively. But what about the rest of the events he teed up in?

Well, the GOAT has sadly missed the cut in 1 of the 6 competitive starts. It was in the 2022 Open Championship at the St Andrews Links (Old Course). Other than this, he also withdrew from three events namely the 2022 PGA Championship, the 2023 Masters, and now the 2024 Genesis Invitational.
