Various sources have speculated about his comeback in the game. However, the American himself has not provided the community with any sort of confirmation regarding the same, owing to his recovery. But now, the Hall of Famer has decided to take things into his own hands, as a recent update on the golfer left the golf world hopeful of his return.

Tiger Woods’ latest news shares a positive update

Although the veteran golfer has not confirmed his return to the game of golf, sources say that he is soon to make a comeback through the upcoming Hero World Challenge, set to kick off in December. And now, rumors of his resurgence have strengthened as the golf community was hit with a piece of happy news as the legend was spotted not too long ago.

A post was uploaded on Twitter showcasing the 15X major winner making his way down the structure with a crowd of people behind him. The video was shared with the caption, “Tiger is absolutely CRUISING down those stairs,” indicating a positive update of sorts to the golf world.

He was caught in sight ahead of the World Wide Technology (WWT) Championship that is set to get underway on November 2. The contest will be played on the first-ever golf course designed by Mr. T, the El Cadonal at Diamante, Mexico. He was also spotted surveying the same thing a little while back, on a golf cart, all the while having a conversation with the course management team.

The piece of good news really does fill the professional’s followers with joy, as positive signs of his recovery would mean a faster comeback into the game. The golfer has been aiming for the same thing for a long time now.

Woods’ comeback saga after the accident

The 47-year-old had been on a break because of his recovery from the accident in 2021. He tried to make a comeback into the sport in the 2022 Masters Tournament, finishing T47. However, the 82X PGA Tour champ had to bow out of the 2023 edition of the major owing to a foot injury reaggravating his plantar fasciitis, resulting in another surgery whose average cost is set at $41,756, as per Healthline.

However, after a period of recovery, the American Ryder Cup star was spotted many times on the course. He was seen caddying for his son Charlie Woods at the Last Chance Florida Regional (Boys), where the young prodigy went ahead to win the 14-15 division. Moreover, a video of the GOAT was shared on social media, showcasing the recovering athlete hitting a wedge at the famous par-3 course on Pebble Beach.
